Sunday’s are fundays to roll out of bed and go get breakfast at local spots. We have formed a tradition of doing this once per month. So far, we have been to Harbor Cafe twice, and the experience has been top notch. The prices are pretty reasonable and the food, staff, and cocktails are amazing.I highly recommend this place even though selfishly, I wish it were less crowded.

The team at Harbor have done a great job at keeping everyone safe during Covid. The limitations do make the experience not as good as it was. The friendly staff and great food are still greatly appreciated. Can't wait until we get back to normal

The atmosphere was nice and homey, the service was kind and thoughtful, and the food was very good (we had breakfast). Overall, I enjoyed the experience, and I thought their coffee was very good.

One of our favorite spots... often described as a bar that serves food, I feel like this is a disservice to the fantastic kitchen. Yes the bar is killer - pint glass mimosas in a variety of flavors and awesome bloody marys are their signature drinks. But the food is also always very good, whether you're getting breakfast or lunch. The polenta fries are perfect (try with a side of hollandaise, you won't regret it) and the rotating specials keep things fresh and exciting. Be prepared for a wait (usually 30-45) but with a drink in your hand on the patio, it flies by.

The is perfect Santa Cruz style -- chill, outdoors mostly, intimate, great service, tasty food. The burger was monster size and loaded. The Basic Breakfast was brunch perfection. The only downsize was limited parking but in this town that's the way it goes.

This place is great. Your experience is going to start an hour before you even get a forkful of food into your mouth. Start your day by driving around for 30 minutes looking for parking in this neighborhood. The 6 spaces in the parking lot are full so don't even think about putting your car in the lot. All of the neighborhood has private parking, no parking, fire zones, and you will swear you have never seen more fire hydrants in your life. After 30 minutes of looking for a place, give up and go somewhere else. It's really amazing here. One day I will actually get to try it!This is the place to try to eat if you are into edging.

During this Covid19, I sat in my car and ordered a club sandwich with side salad will be ready in 5-10 minutes walked outside my car, 2and person in line, food was ready paid for my lunch and I was out. Fantastic Club sandwich with avocado, mix salad with vinaigrette dressing. Drove all the way from SJ for it and well worth the drive.

Beachy getaway, fresh and healthy brunch options, good quality and friendly staff... definitely a must visit if opportunity presents...

Great location, very good food, awesome staff, they were super friendly and gave us great tips what to do in the area. Food was very good, atmosphere was really nice, inside and outside!

This place has a great outdoor patio close to the beach. For that alone I’d come back. But the food here and the service were also good. So we will definitely visit this place again and recommend to others if they are rolling through that stretch of highway.

I definitely recommend going Tuesdays for their 2 dollar banana pancakes. The banana taste is so fresh. They're also really big, so worth the money.

Great Mimosas!

IEgg dishes and all breakfast items are super good! I recently had a salad with shrimp and it was very good. You can't go wrong with anything really... there is usually an insane line to get in but I think they could be more efficient about getting people in and out - but...it is Santa Cruz after all.

The food is amazing and the staff was most excellent!

There's usually a long wait, but they have an outdoor bar you can order drinks at while you wait. We put our names in and asked to be seated outside. Hostess sat us down inside and we asked if she could please sit us outside because we had dogs and she never came back. We ended up having to put our dogs in the car. She was rude and not a good hostess at all. Our server ended up being great. Checked in frequently and was very nice. There were 4 of us and we ordered a variety of things.We started with the bowl of fruit, it had pomegranate, Mandarin, BlackBerries, grapes, strawberries, pineapple, and melon. Probably the best thing we had. We got the polenta bene with avocado and pesto. Fresh but lacking in taste. The breakfast BLT had a fried egg on it, with a side of hashbrowns -really tasty. We also got a side of fries that were delicious.Plus - full bar, dogs allowed, outdoor seating, fruit is great, french friesMinus the 2 stars for hostess and taste

We love Harbor. The food is always good and the large mimosa's are great. Dogs welcome outside and they even have a dog treat menu.

This place is so unique definitely one of a kind place to eat. Have to love the environment, love all the people the excitement just a happy place to be..... We had eggs benedict hash browns breakfast burrito everything was excellent service was fairly fast the line was long but it went quick...definitely worth the wait will be back again always a great place to stop in Santa Cruz.

I had the breakfast burrito. It was good and reasonably priced at $8. Eggs, cheese, hashbrowns, sour cream and pico rolled into a tasty sundried tomato tortilla (or something along that nature) served with a side of green sauce. I was turned off by the high price of adding bacon or another meat to it though ($3-5 seemed a tad steep). I opted for the original which was filling enough for a guy my size. Easily shareable though!

It's a funky place, so it fits right in here in Santa Cruz. But the food and the service we're both good. We were there for brunch to celebrate a high school graduation. Bloody Marys and mimosas for the adults and soft drinks for the kids. Drop in to eat sometime. You will like it.

The buser needs to be promoted while the serve Lisa needs to either be demoted or moved to a section that doesn't require her to go outside because good luck ever seeing her. Sat for 25 minutes before she popped outside, took our order as fast as she could not to reappear again except to drop the bill. Our food was dropped off by a runner cold w/no way to get it fixed because Lisa was MIA!

A classic and a local gem. We drive up here from San Jose sometimes just for brunch. Their benedicts are top notch, and the fist tacos are amazing. Always full, so look for parking nearby. The parking lot has a couple spots along the fence though that not many people realize - they could be free!The patio is dog friendly, and they have water bowls available, as well as doggie treats if you ask.

Great food. Great service. There is usually a wait to be seated so expect that if you arrive during a popular time. Indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee available while you wait to be seated. The polenta fries are really good! I'll be back here for sure.

This restaurant is a local favorite. Many times you'll find a wait. BUT it is worth that wait. It is a stylish stayled dinner with many interesting menu items. There is both inside and outside dining, outside far and again the most popular. They offer many specialty cocktails, as well as beer and wine. Good food and service at a not too pricey tab. We had a great time there!

Friendly staff even though usually it's busy on nice weather days. Many excellent dishes. Great for a relaxed, outdoor, good weather breakfast or brunch with a hip and college crowd enjoying the creative bar drinks...

Since 1981 I've been a customer. The fresh crab omelette drew me in back in the day. Food is absolutely great always. Their staff of servers is easy on the eyes and very professional.

Always a good place for food and drinks. Bloody Mary's are quite spicy and go well with any meal. Recommend going early to beat the lines that can be long if you sleep in too much.

I loved the harbor cafe, wait was awhile but worth the wait especially in Santa Cruz!!! It's like the scramble house or Bills Café in San Jose but with a close to the beach vibe, I love it I would recommend it to people who hasn't not tried this place also they have a nice selections of beverages with alcohol.I love this place.

Your typical Bay Area chill food spot. The staff was really friendly and enthusiastic and “real”, you feel like you could have em sit with you and not mind. The quality and amount of food you get for the price is more than adequate. Didn’t plan on coming here. But now that I have, I’ll keep it in mind next time I’m in Santa Cruz.

Food was amazing!! So so good! They have like 5 different flavors for mimosas (we did O.J. and pineapple) they were delicious and the environment was perfect.

Love thisnplace. Great food, good prices. Excellent spot for weekend brunch with a small group. It's typically busy on weekends with 15-45 minute waits, but you can get coffee and drinks and hang out with dogs while you wait.

Great place extremely popular with the locals. Parking can be difficult and probably will be, but don't give up. Delicious breakfast place with a full bar. Outdoor and indoor seating. I enjoyed a chorizo patty Benedict and my date enjoyed her vegetarian selection (I particularly liked the bottled hot sauces they had to choose from) She also enjoyed a cocktail that had fresh grapefruit juice in it and I had a beer. Reasonable prices, busy, atmosphere, friendly service - don't be in a hurry coming here, and enjoy a truly Santa Cruz vibe!

Food was good. Their pepper plant hot sauce was very good on their carnitas omlette. Their churro Belgian waffle was also unique and paired well with their whipped cream

I love this place! Nice big dog friendly open outdoor area as well as bar service for people while they are waiting to be seated. The indoor area is quite small and the wait times here can become very lengthy on Saturday and Sunday mornings but it is worth it! They have great vegetarian options with faux meats. Service is always great and got to love a place that always uses their local coffee Brewers

Great drinks and the best breakfast in Santa cruz county await you at this popular restaurant. There is often a wait, but the fresh air and drinks or coffee while you wait, even makes waiting an enjoyable part of the experience. I love the outdoor seating.

Great service and an enjoyable lunch. The eggs Benedict were perfect for my liking the hollandaise sauce was on point. I will say best one I've had.
